About John Janney
John began his professional career in financial services in 1986 and later served at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. In 1997, John was recruited by a Public Utility to work on their energy commodity trading desk and later served at a number of energy and utility companies. After trying (and not liking) early retirement in 2013, John has been serving a broad array of clients as an executive coach and consultant helping entrepreneurial businesses improve financial performance, expand their operations and, in some cases, develop and execute profitable exit strategies.
In his spare time, when not spending time with his family, John serves (or has served) in various capacities for several for-profit and non-profit Boards, including North Cascades National Bank (loan committee, audit committee), Catholic Family & Child Services (advisory Board) and Holy Family Academy (Chairman).
